I still seek the moment
In which I can be truly alive;
No hustles, no intervening thoughts,
Only peace and serenity
To behold in my eyes.
A moment in which
Only the smile radiates;
Cheerfulness is constant
& no worries spy.
I still seek that moment;
I am yet to feel truly alive.

We all carry a weighted burden of multiple thoughts
Constantly occupying our minds
With no certain medium to unleash them,
This occupancy is one of a kind.
With time we are gradually forgetting
The art of sharing and understanding;
To make our emotions felt and to feel that of others;
Stuck in this loop; happily pretending.
Everyone’s wearing a mask
Of happiness and satisfaction
But behind it is a person
Dead inside: with vulnerable intentions.
Everyone’s in a race
To beat the odds of time
Unfortunately forgetting to fathom that
Love and kindness do not even cost a dime.

She is a poetry
Spilled on an uneven canvas;
No form & no rhythm;
Only pure chaotic bliss.

It is difficult to play the main character in one's story of life,
Unlike movies there's no direction and retakes.

We are all protagonists
In our own stories,
While also being antagonists
In someone else's.

What the heart seeks
Will not always be found.
Many of its wishes will be
Locked in a mindly chest
Never to be opened again.
Sometimes it will recover sooner,
& Sometimes it will take its time.
Nonetheless it will learn
The art of co-operation with
The broken dreams & the wishes.

The heart will recover
& The mind will heal
The scars will fade
& The body will find its zeal.
Past will retard
& Present will be filled with regards
Future will unfold
To deliver the plans untold.
The soul will find peace
& The body its pace
Meditation and mindfulness
Will help you to guard your space.

The Heart & the Mind

Amidst the life filled with chaos
The heart has lost its pace.
Indifferent to many emotions
It always seems in a mourning phase.
To put up a smile on the face
Becomes a struggling task,
The mind is always conscious
To not let tears remove this mask.
It beats in the present
In worry of the future,
The mind always coiling memories
Past could not happily nurture.
Multiple thoughts simultaneously
Flock the mind with no breaks,
Still the heart strives to seek solace
In these scattered wrecks.

A journey can end
Without reaching a destination.
An effort can count,
While the result is in vain
A cloud can rain
While the sun shines.
A breeze can blow,
Without tinkling a wind chime.
A river flows from the mountains,
With no hope for return.
A wave hits the beach,
In wait of its turn.
A start can end
In countless ways,
But every End is beautiful
In its own way.

The Vendor on the train

With empty hands,
Responsibilities of a lifetime,
And stomachs to feed;
He boards the trains daily;
A journey without a destination.
The weight of the bag he carries
Is the hope of selling his stuff
A hope that he won't have to return home
Without a penny in his pocket.
But he carries on calling out loud
Inviting passengers to be his customers,
Singing the songs to attract more people
Unaware whether his weight will be lighter.
But by the end of the day,
However the day has been,
He retards to his bed to wake up
For another journey, the next day.
