Because I'm a good person.

While searching some documents
I came across a hidden drawer
full of faded papers, dogeared books & an old photograph playing pick-a-boo.
It was of me with my brother
teasing him & making him bother.
The nostalgia hit me so hard
it was like being transported
back in time.
The giddiness of that one moment
is just priceless.

Doesn't matter
how well kept a garden is
all manicured, cut ,
boundaries with bricks
There always be weed growing
silently in some forgotten corners.

Just rewind the tape &
take me back to those good old days of laughter, friendship & fun.
Those days of riding to school
in bicycle, tiffin sharing
& being back benchers.
The adventures of stealing mangoes, reading comics & playing Mario.
Oh please rewind the tape &
give me back those golden days.

Whats with one fight
or one harsh word.
We both are two sides
of the same coin
Same temperament & mind.
But at the end of the day
we can't stay apart.
So to get a good night sleep
come back soon.

We met one fine day
drinking coffee at a cafe.
That day turned into years of
getting to know each other.
Each day brought us closer
& taking us towards new dimensions. Untill one day
our bodies seems the same
but we were strangers again.

can burn the universe
if not handled with care.

I want to fly
in the indefinite sky
wishing with all my depths
to go as high as I can get.
Crossing the clouds, rain & rainbows
chasing the hawk, eagle & falcon.

But alas! To go that high
I'll have to break this cage
which is too small for my size.

If there is one element of nature
which is equal part soft & hard
its water.
In its softest form
it nurtures & give life.
In its hardest form
it creates havoc & cause destruction.
So, be wise in playing god
with both:
women & water.
