Well, what is life without any surprises hun? Everytime things get rough, take a deep breath and motivate yourself.

Life moldes us with every path we take, driving us to places we have never seen before. Feeling lost deep inside we try to find a way out and in the process we find someone new, an unknown side to ourselves.
As life puts us through series of such instenses we change. A change we think makes us a better person, a change we think makes us feel stronger than ever, maybe it really does sometimes but maybe sometimes it doesn't ?
Sometimes it so happens that we just lose a part of us when we find a new side to us, thinking this is the best for us when it really isn't. It's often too late when we realize this, but when we do one fine day we are probably going to look into the mirror and see a familiar reflection once we knew, not anymore.

Woke up to the melody on the radio, the room still dark with lights down low.
The clock struck five and the floor still cold, opened the mailbox to find a letter, a week old.
An invite to a city I once called home, a re-union with mates I know no more.
Sipping coffee by the window I wondered if I should go, recollecting sweet memories from years ago.
Glancing the gallery on my phone I found snaps of us sanding by the shore, laughing, jumping and rolling
on the floor.
And that’s all it took, a series of flashbacks to realize what I was missing, a part of me still left behind these poles.
So I told myself, “let’s take a break buddy, pack your bags, we are going home”.

So here we stand , with different paths ahead of us, driven by our passion and chasing our ambition, all set to run a race that we have been preparing for all these years.
Looking back to those days , life was much easier, drinking coffee at the cafe table , bunking classes to hang out with friends and sleeping during class when
we were least interested.

Until now it felt like we were all going on a tour sitting in a bus making memories with our fellow mates and the driver taking us to crazy destinations.
Now, all of a sudden at this point it seems like the bus is right in front of us, keys in our hand and it's left to us where we wanna go.

It seems scary at this point , knowing our destinations aren't the same after all.
We split , getting onto different buses , starting our journey , taking turns as we reach different destinations.
With the bus slowly lossing all it's charm and craziness , it's finally left with just you and a bus full of memories.

And then there will come a day when we cross paths again and maybe it will be long enough for us to look back and say once upon time.

You made me find myself and you showed me how important it was to put ME before YOU.

Facing reality, the truth , the fact that no matter how hard you try , people do walk out of your life.

by putting family before her.

YOU spread love like an endless river to this world , but YOU often leave yourself behind.
And to all the love YOU expect , it's YOU who can give it.
And when YOU realise this , there will soon be less worries , less pain and more happiness.

For all that you have done , I would still forgive you within a blink of an eye and do anything to see your smile, even if it rips me apart.

I still gaze at you sometimes, not out of love but out of curiosity this time.
You seem to wear a smile that's brighter than the stars in the night sky, makes me wonder if our end was just another lie ?

My soul still broken I'm trying to lift my head high , with the pillow case still wet I can't feel my eyes.
When people ask about us I blame it to fate , but tell me love , was it all fake ?
From the feelings , the cuddles, the struggles and all the giggles, do you ever miss us under the same roof a little or is it me taking all the trouble ?

Looks like you have found your new profound happiness this time, she rules your thoughts and lives in your mind.
I spend sleepless nights thinking about how could you be so fine ? Maybe you never swam oceans just to walk miles with me by your side.

Now, i stand here watching my heart crumble, fighting the hardest battle ever, the battle between holding on and letting go without a stumble.
