ಚಂದನವನದ ಅಂದ,
ಇವರ ದ್ವನಿ ಕೇಳೋಕೆ ಅದೆಷ್ಟು ಚಂದ,
ಇವರ ನಗುವೆ ನಮಗೆ ಪರಮಾನoದ.
ಇವರ ನಡೆದ ದಾರಿಯೇ ನಮಗೆ ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿ,
ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಮನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇವರೊಂದು ಅದ್ಭುತ ಮೂರ್ತಿ.
ಕೋಟಿ ಕನಸು ಹೊತ್ತ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರ,
ಮನೆ-ಮನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇವರು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಅಜರಾಮರ.
ಅಂದೊಂದು ಅರಳಿದ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಹೂವು,
ಇಂದು ಕಾಣದಂತೆ ಮಾಯವಾಯಿತು.
ಆದರೂ ಮನದಂಗಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಇವರೊಂದು ಸದಾಪುಷ್ಠಿ,
ಮರೆಯಲಾಗದ ಅಧ್ಭುತ ಕಲಾಸೃಷ್ಟಿ.
ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಕಣ್ಮಣಿ ಇವರು,
ಕೋಟಿ ಹೃದಯಗಳ ಗೆದ್ದ ಕೊಟ್ಯಾದಿಪತಿ ಇವರು.
ಇವರೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಅಪ್ಪು...
ತೆರೆಮೆಲೆ ಅಂದು ಯುವರತ್ನ,
ಇಂದು ಮುಡಿಗೇರಿದೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರತ್ನ...

कुछ बातें लफ्जों मे मैं बयान न कर सकती..
जब पूरी दुनिया मुझे समझ न सके, फिर भी दिल मानता है कि कोई हैं... मीलों दूर ... मुझे सूनने वाला।
क्या वो इनसान हैं? या कोई फरिश्ता...
पर उस्से है मेरा कोई अजीब रिश्ता...
कोई मुजसे पुछे " क्या दीखता है तुजे उस रोज के चाँद मे?"
हाँ मुझे उस रोज के चाँद मे वो दीखता है जिसें खोने का डर नहीं है मुझे..
वो दीखता है जो ना चलकर भी हर पल मेरे साथ हैं..
वो दीखता है जिसका हर पहलू मुझे कुछ सीखाता हैं...
वो दीखता है जिसें मुझे अपने आपको समजना नहीं पडता...
वो दीखता है जिसके एक झलक से हर दुविधा का हल मिलता है...
सिर्फ पाने और खोने के इस दूनिया से परे है ऐ रीश्ता... जिसे कर नहीं सकती मे बयान,
पर मेरे चंदा, ऐ तो सच है की... कुछ तो है तेरे-मेरे दरमियान।
