A part of her was in me,
I look at the moon,
As if it was she,
Still at the roof,
Looking at the scars,
As she peeks through the stars.

That tricolour up in the air,
secluded from the fuss,
waving like the heart of every Indian,
beneath standing is beloved citizens,
pouring their hearts in National Anthem,
saluting the tricolour,
no matter the caste, the religion or race or color,
giving goosebumps to every human alive.
That's what's UNITY IN DIVERSITY
That's what's INDIA FOR YOU.-

Death and the Last Wish
Death came to me one dark night, as I asked to,
and said, "O Mortal! Tell me your last wish and it shall be fulfilled."
To which I replied, "Let my soul rest in peace and never be disturbed for any other selfless incarnations. "
Then everything went dark, could just hear the howling of winds through the tree leaves and then I started floating in the air, feeling miraculously immense comfort and peace, just like an infant in mother's lap,
Only, I was in lap of death, away from all the hustles of worldly, momentarily pleasures.
Last thought I had that "Death" really deserves to be experienced once more,
So I want my soul to acquire a mortal body again, just to relive the unembellished beauty of death.-
