यूं तो मिलते हैं अक्सर ख़्वाबों में तुमसे
अब हक़ीक़त में मिलने आओ तो कुछ बात बने

जो इस शहर की ऊंची इमारतों में नही रहते

एक बार निकल जाएं मुसाफ़िर जो सफ़र को
लौट आएं अगर तो भी फिर घर के नही रहते

हम एक मुस्कान पर तेरी कई बार मर गए
कहते हैं एक बार जो मर जाएं तो जिंदा नही रहते

जो साथ में रहते कई बार वो
एक साथ होकर भी साथ नही रहते
