चर्चें हमारे ताल्लुकात के हो, हमें ऐतराज़ नहीं, 

पर किसी की जुबां पे नाम तेरा आये, हमें पसंद नहीं..

अजीब सा टूटता-जुड़ता रिश्ता है
कुछ तो ख़ासा है इसमें
कि उम्रों के खर्चों से
हमने उम्मीदों की गुल्लक खाली कर ली
सोचा था समंदर की रेत से
घर का सपना जोडेंगे
मुट्ठी में कैद होने से पहले
उसने रिहाई कर ली..

उदासी भरी आंखें और झूठी हंसी
कितनी खूबसूरती से वो अपनी ख़ुशी का झूठ बोला करते है

मुझे उसके होंठों की तलब नहीं
वो हथेली पर शरारत से काट भी ले तो नशा चढ़ जाता है...

ये फ़ासले और तेरा ना आना
काफी है समझने को कि क़ुरबत इक तरफ़ा थी...

It's okay to fall and it doesn't matter at all as it will increase the pages of your autobiography and length of stories which you'll tell your children and grand children. What matters is getting up with the 2× dedication after falling down, dusting off the scars of failures and again working hard.
All the obstacles and failures are the part and parcel of the journey towards success. When you'll sit on that desired bench then you'll think of these phases and smile on yourself that you were going to quit..

हम ही काफ़िर गली मोहल्ले में जान के अनजान पड़े रहे
अक्सर आपकी ही बातें होती थी लोगों की महफिलों में
और हमें देखिये
हम सुनसान नुक्कड़ पर ही खड़े रहे,
आपकी खुशबू से हमें आपका पैगाम कब का मिल चुका था
पर माफ़ कीजिये
हम आपके किस्सों का पिटारा ले अकेले ही खुद से आपके लिए लड़ रहे थे!!!!
