STORY OF FIRE - (i)
Once upon a lonely night,
My flames were dancing in the dark,
Screaming the ashes out loud and fight,
Consuming all the storm in the soul
Of this burning heart.
But at a distance,
Something was shining like a diamond,
'Oh! It's the river', said I,
'Cool and calm, unbothered at all
Quiescently shining with my radiant light'.
"Stop being frantic",said he, "and a destroyer,
You should know that you're
Suppose to destroy only the pyre.
Keep calm and have a sip of my river
You'll know the taste of salvation
And not gonna get mad at anything ever."
Thought I got a companion
And then we both got into a rave,
Little did I know he was about to
Dance on my grave!
Sip after sip, I fed on him
He coerced all my senses,
Step by step, he laid my flames dim
And a thirst of evil power he quenches.
With a new day, the birds were quite
But he did laugh on my residuals and smoke
He tamed, teased, twisted me,
Did every possible try to provoke.
And one fine day, the clouds blared out,
It rained and swept away all my ashes into river
He enslaved me in his soul no doubt
And kept me caged in him forever.
