Too many goodbyes
The bruises on my being define
All the lows and highs
The wardrobe of my heart

Of the insecurities that add.

If you want to kiss my scars

I warn you to do that on your own risk
Only to get in the end, the fingerprints
Don't blame me if you miss the dart
Better be a whole, than playing a part.

Didn't march like March anymore
Are you done with the humans,
Did they shake you to the core?

Rare winds and no signs of clouds
Wasn't that way too loud?
The scorching heat made us blind,
Birds weren't ready for March this kind.

They hadn't survived Holi showers
Without a little shiver, until this year
April is knocking or making a fool of us
Is that a warning for us to fear?

Your two marching legs were spring summer and spring
You forgot the confusion along with you, you bring?
Of putting on a jacket or a tee before stepping out, remember?
You didn't seem drowsy after the winter slumber.

Anyway, goodbye to the March that nudged the earth to life
Your arrival didn't whisper the beauty of change,
However farewell does echo in the void.

If a beginning isn't hungry
for an ending,
Does that even
make it a beginning?

If an ending isn't hungry
for another beginning,
It surely doesn't
make it an ending.

हर बाह्य बदलाव की शुरुआत
बदलाव की अंदरूनी चाह से होती है।

और हर अंदरूनी बदलाव का अंत
एक नए बाह्य की शुरुआत होती है।

कैसे अपनी हर खुशी में एक डर की मिलावट नहीं चाहिए
कैसे अपनापन हो तो सच्चा हो, कोई बनावट नहीं चाहिए
कैसे बेतुकी बातों की जगह भी हो आपस में,
हर वक्त महज़ समझदारी की सजावट नहीं चाहिए
कैसे साथ हो वो कोई तो खुशियां वृद्धि की सीढ़ियां चढ़ें
कम से कम इस एक हिस्से में कोई गिरावट नहीं चाहिए
जिसे पढ़ना हो कल मुझे, वो अपनी कहानियां मैं ख़ुद लिखूं
उसके पन्नों पर किसी ग़ैर की लिखावट नहीं चाहिए
बहुत कुछ आते आते हर बार रह गया था
अबके अगर कुछ आए, तो कोई रुकावट नहीं चाहिए
