Yes, I exist...
I drift in and out of people's lives
Like a feather in the breeze
No one really knows that I'm there
Until I start to leave..
I don't demand anything to anyone
Just try to be there for them
I am like salt who accords taste
But being invisible at that time..
I prefer to stick to the sidelines
Because the spotlight stings my eyes
I hide behind a composed smile
So u won't know it's a disguise..
People tend to forget I'm there
When they get into a crowded room
It makes me feel negligible sometimes
And my heart aches with gloom..
Don't worry if u notice I'm gone
That will happen because I never meant to stay,
And I know that u will neither miss me long
Nor I'll be forgotten in a day..

मध्यरात्रि की वेला में, चहुँ ओर पसरा सन्नाटा है
इस तीव्र पवन के झोंकों ने मानो नींद पे डाला डाका है
मन है कुछ यूँ उद्विग्न
मानो शाखाओं में उलझा पतंग
डोर टूट जाने का है भय और मन में उड़ने की भी आशा है
मध्यरात्रि की वेला में, चहुँ ओर पसरा सन्नाटा है!!!
