माँ,
सिर्फ एक शब्द नहीं......

निराशा के क्षणों में वह आशा है,
दुःख में खुशी की परिभाषा है !
और जब हार मान लेती हूँ मैं,
तो वही जीतने की अभिलाषा है !!

मेरी गलतियों पे मुझे माँ की तरह समझाती है,
और जब जरूरत पड़ती है तो खुद पिता बन जाती है !
वह अकेली ही सारे रिश्ते निभाती है,
और मुझे हर अहसास से रूबरू कराती है !!

मैंने भी उनसे ही सबको अपना बनाना सीखा है,
चाहे कुछ भी हो हर परिस्थिति में मुस्कुराना सीखा है !
अब शब्द नहीं हैं इससे ज्यादा नहीं कहूँगी,
तुम्हारी छाया हूँ मैं माँ, तुम जैसी ही बनूँगी !!

क्योंकि माँ
सिर्फ एक शब्द नही........

They say, she is a woman of rebellious nature,
But to follow her instinct is the right of every creature !!

When they bridled her flight and forced her innerself to yell
She freed her hair n her chained soul as well !

When they questioned her dignity and labelled her character as black or white
She put on the lipstick and added some bright colours to her life !

When they focused on her dress rather than her personality
She wore the skirt as short as their mentality !

When they saw the weakness in her gratitude
She took on the heels higher than their attitude !

After all.....she is a woman of rebellious nature !!

देखो उस अँधेंरे कमरे में,
दरार से झाँकता हुआ उजाला
अन्दर आने को बेचैन, वो उजाला हूँ मैं !!

मिलना चाहते हो मुझसे ??
लफ्जों के इस शोर में ,
महसूस की है कभी अन्जानी सी खामोशी ?
बेमतलब के शब्दों से परे, वो खामोशी हूँ मैं !!

मिलना चाहते हो मुझसे ??
इस बड़े से जहाँ में,
मेरी किताबों के आखिरी पन्नों पे सिमटी
इक छोटी सी दुनिया है मेरी,
इस छोटी सी दुनिया का, मामूली सा किरदार हूँ मैं !!

मिलना चाहते हो मुझसे ??
तो आओ चलो मेरे साथ...
चल सकोगे,तुम्हारी इस दुनिया के पार ?
मेरी खामोश, बेचैन, छोटी सी दुनिया में

.....तो आओ चलो मेरे साथ
अगर मिलना चाहते हो मुझसे.......

जब खुद का रिश्ता टूटा तो कोई बूझ काम न आई ।
