my night lamp,

The last effort i make everyday -
is to turn you off
With my eyes begging for darkness
and my body crying for rest
After a long strife i locate the switch that will kill you for good,
Click goes the switch ,
The fan slows down to a halt
I smack my head
And pull my lazy eyes up only to find that it was the wrong switch
Grunting i get up thump the right one
Killing you this time.
Only to turn you ON again to find my missing blanket.
Uhhh!!!
