From delightfully colouring the colour books as a child,
To struggling to fill hues in the life..........

I wonder how I grew so fast !

I drew a picture,
I fell in love with it,
I knew it wasn't gonna come alive,
I still romantisized it,
I knew I was wasting my time,
I couldn't keep myself away from it,

Then, came the storm one day,
It rained and drained it's colours away.
Now just wet paper was left,
Torn a bit, with faded hues
I tried to drew over it again,
Subtly matching all the spots,

It came out awful...
I threw it away, yes, I threw it away.

I drew a novel picture,
And I fell in love again!

Not the wound, not the pain, not even the scar .........it's the Memory in my mind that sets it about again.

Oh how I yearn to forget it,
But it's the Soul in my body that has been imprinted with it !
