Laut ke na aana Teri zidd thi,
Tera intezaar karna Meri fitrat ban gyi.

हाथों से रेत की तरह गुजर रहा वक़्त,
कुछ खुले हुए जखम पे मलम से भर रहा है वक़्त,
यादें धुंदली सी लगने लग रही है अब,
शायद किसी की दुआ का असर अब कर रहा है वक़्त.

साथ रह कर भी जुदा सा है वो,
कहता मेरा तो है फिर भी अधूरा सा है वो,
खोज रही हूँ तुझको हर जगह हर पल,
कही न मिल रहा मेरा कैसा हिस्सा है वो.

We met again and we shared again and we loved again then I stopped dreaming again.

But after sometime,
It's all vanished slowly,

I missed the old you,

Today is one of the memorable days for me,
I was going to my work in the morning and one uncle shares a passenger autorickshaw with me, he is Muslim and I just smiled at him and he starts sharing that he is going to meet his grandchildren after one year and he will give them eidi(gift), he sounds very excited then I wished him back and he smiled, after sometime when I was about to leave from the auto he hands me a note of Rs.20 as eidi and said: "you are the first person today to wish me, take this." I denied but he said, "it's eidi from my side to my daughter".
His words touched my heart and I loved the gesture full of love, sometimes we never know just a smile can make someone happy and make yourself happy too.

रुक रुक के चल ऐ जिंदगी जरा सांस तो लेने दे,
ये दोरभाग वाले शहर में जरा खुद को धुंध लेने दे।
इतने शोर में आवाज कहीं खो सी गई है खुद की,
अब कहीं किसी सनाते में अपने आप को सुन तो लेने दे।

तब हर इंसान आपका दोस्त या अपना होता है,
जब साथ छोड़ देता है वक्त भी,
तो अपने भी पराए हो जाते हैं.
