I think of words to write of you,
Words that would do right by you,
For a mortal does but once in life,
See a goddess of love in image so bright.

A silhouette of light, of melody divine,
A maiden grown from edens vine,
With a smile as soft as a moonlit night,
And body that shines with dazzling light,

A celestial she, from paradise,
With thoughts as swift as lightings might,
An intelligence that which did Ignite,
My love for her did burn that night,

I wish to write in brevity,
With words that ring through eternity,
For in my words immortalised,
An eternal being brought to life.

As brief it was this mortals sight,
Within his eyes did he hold her tight,
Choices he did have that night,
To forever hold or ope his eyes.

He spoke of love, a warriors might,
He spoke of her, beauty bright,
For eons he did hold her tight,
Untill one day, they did unite.

The Seething Flames

Anger seethes within these veins,
Like beings from a world of war,
My blood they are born within,
I know not when, how or why.

This outward smile and happy soul,
Holds within a stench of death,
For when these men shall rise in war,
A ghastly smile, you shall see.

These men I hold, within my veins,
Would they be me or bestowed upon?
Would I be human, beast or less?
For within this blood they rest upon.

Dancing through my thoughts at dawn,
A voice so sweet, bees did swarm,
A melody soft, in the winds,
Like a new born craddled within its arms,
A green meadows scent she left behind,
Unseen Beauty, oh she was divine,
An angle she, I dreamt in stone,
Only to wake and find her, missing so,

As I left my crypt of memories plain,
The icy floor, did find me cold,
Like a dementor who had found its prey,
The Darkness grew around my own,
Having lost her in my bygone dreams,
I never did see this creature spawn,
With a soul that fed on memories sweet,
The filthy foul did near me so,

With a stench of burning flesh and blood,
And vapours black fading back,
At a whispers space the creature knew,
The darkness held a frightful sight,
A creature lacking what it sought,
A creature made of fiery soul,
Smiling as it burst in flames,
A patronus made of vapours black

Pristine I thought, held within,
My memories roared with our brethren,
Of love, of life, of fear and strife,
My memories ought be writ in stone.

That is when I feel these lines,
Forgotten once, death did come,
Unknown to me, my mind or thine,
From memories swift to dust divine,

As Death did come, the maker mine,
I am become death at night,
As I wipe them clean, my memories seep,
Like art that runs when the sky does weep.

A friendly face, a loving smile,
Whose words did not fail my own,
With hands that have held mine within,
Oh what art could portray this soul?

Friendships, love, regardless of light,
Darkness, anger, a blind man's sight,
Once forgotten, never to pry,
These figmentous lives that shun our sight.

Never to breathe the art of life,
Yet that which lived not, could die,
Within this living mind and soul,
A life this art does not procure.

That forgotten once in mind and bone,
Rot it did from dusk to dawn,
These memories of love, of paradise,
Once lived it can not ought be found.

Someone once did say these lines,
"Blessed are the forgetful,
For they get the better even of their blunders"
It made not sense from whence I once stood.

Then later once I did hear this too,
"How happy is the blameless vestal's lot!
The world forgetting, by the world forgot. Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!
Each prayer accepted, Each wish resigned"

That was when, my thoughts did flow,
To create, that which was naught before.

Long Enough

When you live long enough, And strive long enough,
When the skin that you wear, Is yours long enough,
When the heart that you heal, Was yours long enough,
When not lonely you feel, When alone long enough,
It's when you shall see, Your worth long enough,
Just long enough to wish long enough,
That the ones that you love,
Shall live long Enough, shall love long enough
be happy and healthy in mind long enough.

Humans are animals in society defined,
With a need for connection, that which is thine,
I hear excerpts from lives, I know not to divine,
Happiness defined, a wrongful iteration,
As I hear stories plenty, of respectful salvation,

As I stand upon the shores of emotions,
I find myself staring deeply without intention,
I find myself staring without emotion,
Intrigued by the blank blackness of my sight,
I step into the sea from which I once emerged.

But rather than being one with the sea,
I find myself immiscible in the emotions,
I still exist emotionless, blank with blackness,
I still live on, forever an immiscible sphere of life,
In a vast ocean of mortality, motility and vulnerability.

Should I flee? Return to land?
Stare blankly into black forever?
Should I stay? Try to disperse?
Try to be lost in the vastness of that which we call life?

Leap of Faith

Sometimes you have got to take the leap of faith,
Not faith in God, life or relationships,
But faith in yourself, that even if you fall,
In the deep pits of the endless blackness,
Even if you get bruised or battered by the piling stones,
Faith that you, the warrior will rise up once more,
Set aside the rubble and Reach where you need to reach.
