At times, my evenings are crammed with such retro pieces of Kishore Kumar. The brass of the gramophone fills the complete verandah with tranquillity but there's this abyss of a partner which leaves this heart back to sit on this old rosewood fibre stitched chair which also holds some stories within. That 10W filament bulb still glows the corners of pillars in pale yellow draped in saplings. Feels like the time has ceased for a while and then comes a whirl of air, that rouses me up and I subside the voice of the gramophone and think about her.

To be honest, being the eldest child, one's never really taught something. It's the environment and the surrounding that teaches an individual. People don't come and tell you to respect anyone, it's you who grows up seeing them respecting and having that courtesy towards people, you see them helping, caring and eventually those qualities are adapted by you too even without your realisation.
