It's been a long day,
a tiring one indeed.
It's time to go to sleep,
yes! that's what I need.
A pillow, a warm blanket,
oh no! nothing of that sort!
At all the wrong places,
I'm looking for comfort.
The greatest comfort of all
is in mom's lap by the way,
She hums the lullabies,
she sings the night away.
