Forgiving someone when New Year comes has been our tradition. But Christians shouldn’t follow this tradition, because the heart of a true Christian is a forgiving heart. When you have Christ in your heart, you don’t need to wait for a year to end before you forgive someone because you are always willing to forgive everyday; there is the Holy Spirit who convicts you to do the will of God—to forgive those who have sinned against you, pray for them and speak blessings to them instead of curse. That's the heart of a Christian.
