I hear a silent sound, a rhythm hidden the by melancholy of day noises.
In this silent, epiphanies arise as the chaos settles of petty choices.
Little glimmer of light, emerging through the night, appease the soul.
In this silent song of night, let me take a discursive stroll.

No matter how much she peeked, in vain how hard she tried....
Couldn't move past beyond the yeil.
Yes she was scared and a little bit tired,
And even though she wanted to thrive,
She couldn't dare dive.
She casted upon herself the shadows of her past, which over time grew very dark...
Wanted to catch a glimpse of the bright, couldn't with her veil sewn tight.
How could she step out with half a heart,
Held back by the tears of her past.
Until one day she snapped off the curtains that surrounded her,
And let sun shine bright on her face...
There she was back again, not the same but her stronger self.

Strolling down a crowded path,
I sat down on an empty bench just to take a break.
I saw around me people hurrying by busy in their own self, trying to reach their terminus.
Just as I was about get up someone came and sat beside me, a very familiar face, which made me want to stay a little longer..
It was full of joy and rid of worry, it's smile was so pure, devouring the sweet
Toffee.
It looked me and offered me one, and said look how far you've made it, it's okay to rest a little, you'll catch up, don't sweat it!
Then she took off on her cycle, down the road, smiling along the way...
I sat their looking at my young self departing away, as she reminded me of who I was yesterday...
I stood up and was on my way only this time their was a smile on my face and a little stride in my step...

I have been alone this whole time,
Living like a cactus, away from the world, submerged in my own .
Some said I was self-centred or maybe they didn't even care....
I was pretty much alive and present, but probably not good enough for everyone.
I saw you everyday, you were radiant and charismatic full of colours, as they said, but for me you were just you and I fell for you.
And maybe for someone like me falling for someone is a disaster, coz you never noticed me.
But I was there always, trying to reach you, for maybe you'll hold me in your arms...
Nevertheless you'll never see me nor you'll belong to me cause I am shadow and you are light.

In the morning mist
Walking down a deserted path
I felt your presence in a soothing breeze
As subtle sunrays shone from behind the curtains of clouds...
They reminded me of your gentle warmth
I recalled your stubbornness, as I tripped over the wild grass.
I strolled down the trail surrounded by flowers only to sense your trace...
It was no sooner that I realised the path
I conveyed was a reminiscence of your being.
Oh! How I wish I could just stay here hidden from the outside, rejoicing your presence all over again..

On that winter night I saw you across the road.
You waved at me I waved back at you.

It was too cold around. We started walking toward each other. We reached at a point where we looked in each others eyes, in utter silence, we just went on staring until......
A cold breeze blew between us.

We went on walking beside eachother in silence.
No words were spoken but a lot conveyed.

But when I turned towards you to tell how I felt, you were already gone....

That's when I realised that you were just my sweet sweet imagination who provided me warmth on that winter night.
