watching the he moon in her beauty
the stars and the sea tides

while we are engulfed with our presence.

Like a child presented with candies
Placed high on a cabinet
To have some ,it must get to the top
to get to the top ,it must face it's fears
and climb not minding the tears
especially when help seems far away.

The long legs of the antelope have been broken
The beautiful ones we all admired.
Poor antelope, she wept
all the way as she was brought back home.
I left with my pride now they are gone
how do i feed my children,she mourned
They took everything from me she wailed
They fed on my pride.

Have you ever been in love, I asked? It depends on your definition he replied . You young people have your definition of love, we old ones have ours. So tell me, what is your definition of love, i insisted. He paused and stared into space for sometime, like someone seeing something that can't be seen, with a smile he said, its who you call home pointing towards his aged pretty wife who was busy with her chores. If the one you call love is not home he said still looking at her,then it's not love . Do not invest in it,little one, he finished looking at me making sure I understand his point and I nodded in deep thought.

I have my destination,
was hoping for a ride that will take me there.
Then i found Give Me A Chance
Looking promising and strong .
I hopped in for its word, thinking
It will be at its best
Give Me a Chance was just a gloss.
It never made it to the destination
Just like everyother ride i have tried.
Again I am back on foot and my journey continues .
