She is a kid from a family of four. She is extremely close to her mother from whom she imbibed a significant attribute i.e. Self-dependency. She has immense respect for her father for all the sacrifices he made for them. She cares about her brother despite competing with him in eating their favorite Gobi Manchurian. In short, Family means the world to her.

She often forgets what she has done in life and questions herself. To cook for the family in 9th standard isn’t easy, but she did. Not everyone gets into a good college on merit, but she did. Being able to adapt and perform in the assigned job role is not everyone’s cup of tea, but she did. To be financially independent in the early 20’s and being able to help the family is not a joke, but she did it too.

Kudos to those days when she missed her mom badly and the only witness was her wet pillow, when she missed being at home, when she weathered the insecurities storm, when she fought mighty mental battles all alone. She always wanted to be strong and now she is.

Hope she is wearing a proud bright SMILE on her face with this reminder.
