Say my name. Part 1
Lara walked into the room, her laptop bag in one hand school bag in the other
The shadows beneath her eyes were evidence enough that she had deprived them of some well meaning sleep.
She sat down on her favorite chair and made herself comfortable. Tonight she'd read and read till she passed out literally
Once more, her gaze flickered to where he should have been sitting, for the upteemmpth time. Where was he? He had promised he'd be here.
Why does she even care? Feelings are bound to make one miserable and unfocused. That is the last thing she needs right now
Although, she'd admit, she did miss the random facts he'd spew mid reading or the way his fingers would subconsciously find hers and intertwine with them like yam twigs on a long stick.
Butterflies fluttered around her belly at that thought and she brought herself back to focus.
Guess she won't be seeing him today
