1. Introduce yourself to the year.
2. Choose your acquaintance wisely.
3. Do not partake in rivalry.
4. Identify people that see you as their opponent.
5. Do not try to "beef" or "pepper". Delete some contacts if need be.
6. Get rid of "nobody knows tomorrow" mentality.
7. Be Cold or Hot.
8. Appreciate life, do not take people for granted.
9. Eat, laugh, work, sleep and stay hydrated.
10. Do not stop at plan C.

Dead Man Walking in Christ

I never knew the love could be this overwhelming.
In filth, I had crawled to His feet,
Was at my lowest; fatelessly faithless.
Thought the end has come when I heard death knocking.
With no regret, I am now dead in sin, buried in Christ and Risen with Him.
I am that dead man walking in Christ. Alas! You cannot kill a dead fellow twice.
For the life I am living is not mine but of Christ Jesus.
Thought He had only a Beloveth Son until He calls me His Kingdom daughter.
As I continue to work out my salvation, He will continue being my only Hope of Glory.

Last year, thanksgiving was my vaccine.
This year, thanksgiving is my antitoxin.
As for the year to come,
Thanksgiving will be my anaesthesia,

We observed the east from the north,
We also beheld the west from the south
As the year runs out
Not the sun without;
We were never alone
Else, we could have been bone.
The nature showed a new form of hazard
Humans posed a greater danger to their kind.
Guess we were dying to have a life
That we are now living to die.
Oh! Dear me,
I almost forgot it is the season of ọpẹ́ (thanksgiving)
Even if I climb the tallest ọ̀pẹ̀ (palm tree)
I will not still be able to see all that God has done.
Where are the people named Ọpẹ́yẹmí?
It is high time we all gave thanks.
