পড়ন্ত বিকেলের আলোয়
ঝরে পড়া এক পাতা আমি,
সব সবুজটুকু হারিয়ে হেমন্তের শেষে-
শীতের প্রথম শিকার আমি !!

জীবন বাঁচার ইচ্ছে গুলো পথভুলে
আজ সবাই আমার বিমুখ !
বন্ধনহীন প্রণয়াতিত গ্রন্থিগুলো ,
আজ নয়ননীরের চিবুক ।।

Bound love in the attic
Wants to cry out in the dark of night,
But in this city of reality
she finds a place in the back of her lover's mind.

চিলেকোঠার আবদ্ধ প্রেম
রাতের আঁধারে চিৎকার করে ব্যাক্ত হতে চায় ,
কিন্তু বাস্তবতার এই শহরে
সে প্রেমিক মনের অন্তরালেই ঠাঁই পায় ।।

That old days
Where sun rose with lots of joy and enthusiasm ,
Where we played and learned together with our childhood friends ,
Where except overthinked on such realistic things and future planning , we only focused on our imaginery world .

I keep going back to that old golden days

চারপাশ আজ বড় বেরোঙিন ,
শক্ত হয়ে থাকা মন , আজ -
তোমার আঁচলে ভাঙতে চায় ভীষন ।।
