Bringing with it hope's shiny rays
Giving us a chance to mend our ways
To get back to our old days
As summer beckons merry and gay
And we say goodbye to soft spring
Let the bells of joy ring
As misery disintegrates into pieces
And life is vibrant with laughter
Of children around , playing away
Merrily shall we go our way

"A Moment's Reflection"

Along the scholarly path I diligently strayed,
Where expectation's gentle shadows swayed.
But then I yearned for life's untrodden road,
To explore, to discover, and to grow.

I skipped a class, then two, then three,
And found myself lost in uncertainty.
But wise words from well-wishers, old and young,
Guided me back, with a gentle, caring tongue.

Their counsel sparked self-reflection's gentle breeze,
To temper passion with responsible ease.
I saw my dreams, my parents' trust,
My own self-respect, all worthy of adjustment.

Now, I find my footing anew,
Rebuilding habits, passion shining through.
It's a daily journey, with ups and downs,
But I'm determined to regain my grounds.

Small steps forward, I reclaim my path,
And learn to balance freedom with wisdom's gentle aftermath.
For success is sweet, but compassion sweeter,
A life of purpose, my heart's beat clearer

Gone with the wind
Are the days they were naive
Deceived by the words of
Those persuasive and suave
Now they were hard as a rocky stone
No longer to be fooled were they now prone
Exteriorly , mush turned to rock
As all did jeer and mock
But still they were the same inside
A young soul who had to swallow their pride
And thus the wind of change swept upon them
As they adapted to things cold and grim
But a remnant of their old self existed on the rim
As they braved their own wars and battles
They could not be fazed shook or rattled

Moderation is the key to success
Not excess or a pittance I must impress
That confidence is key
To unlocking the door to life's sea
Yet it mustn't cross the threshold
And turn into cockiness truth be told
Nor must it be in dearth
So that we burn in diffidence's hearth
Yes a bit of modesty is good
But it mustn't interfere with opportunities gate
Or else we shall lament that it's too late
Hence be calm confident and assured
And you shall not be pressured
By the vagaries of life and the past
Your presence shall last
And life will be ever so fine
As long as you walk moderation's line
