Of late I have forgotten how to converse
As every single word I speak
Puts finger on my lips
Staring at me with its wet eyes
The words cover my mouth
More fiercely every passing second
As if they are trying to protect me
From being judged
From going in to the deep well of salty water, which gets deeper night by night
As if they are trying to
Veil my vulnerability
Like a palpitating mother
Who identifies the danger coming towards her child
Of late I have forgotten how to converse
For,no one conversates to just converse these days!
