હશે ખુશી એ નવો સૂરજ જોવાની,
પણ ઢળતી સંધ્યા નું દુઃખ વધારે હશે....
તરસી જશે આ નયન,
ત્યારે વગર કહે વરસી જશે...
સુકાશે આ હૃદય રોજ,
ત્યારે લાગણી ઝરણાં ની જેમ વહી જશે....
કહેશે કોઈ, ચલ મારી સાથે,
પણ અંતર જોઈ પગ અટકી જશે....
થઈ જશે મન હલકું બોલીને ક્યારેક,
ક્યારેક મૌન રહીને જીવ દાઝી જશે....
ઘેરી લેશે એકલતા જ્યારે,
સાંકળો હતો રસ્તો એમ કરી મન વળી જશે...
બસ બાકી છે ચાર પગલાં જ,
અને બીજી એક રાત ખેંચાઇ જશે....
