शादी करिए पर,
अपने होने वाले जीवन-साथी के बारे में,
अच्छे से जान लें
बाकी तो आप खुद ही समझदार हैं

पर यहां तो लोग,
एक दूसरे को जान से करने पर तुले हैं
हां जानता हूं की शादी जरूरी है,
पर जिससे कर रहे हैं,
उसके बारे में जानना बहुत ही जरूरी है,
नहीं तो क्या पता,
कब किसी का राजा जैसा हाल हो जाए,
कहीं कोई लड़का
अपनी पत्नी को श्रद्धा जैसे काट के
फ्रिज में ही ना भर दे

क्या इसी के लिए लोग शादी करते हैं,
कि अगर पसंद ना आए,
तो उसकी जान से मार दो ?
शादी तो वह बंधन है,
जिसमें बंध के,
एक दूसरे को समझते हैं,
एक दूसरे को जानते हैं,
एक दूसरे की पसंद के लिए
अपना सर्वस्व न्योछावर करते हैं

आजकल का युवा समाज,
इस पवित्र बंधन से अब कुछ डरने सा लगा है,
जहां न जाने कब शादी के बाद,
कहीं कोई आदमी ड्रम में मिले,
या कहीं कोई औरत फ्रिज या सूटकेस में,
कहीं कोई आदमी अपनी नई नवेली दुल्हन
के साथ हनीमून मनाया जाए
वहीं पर उसका कत्ल हो जाए

शादी है तो एक ऐसा पवित्र बंधन,
जिसमें दो लोग मिलकर एक होते हैं,
जिसमें दो परिवार मिलकर एक होते हैं,
कहते तो है कि यह जन्म-जन्म का नाता है,
पर आजकल की दुनिया में,
क्या यह सच में जन्मों का नाता है ?

शादी जिसको आज लोगों ने खेल बना दिया है,
जहां लड़कों ने हवस के लिए लड़कियों को अपनाया,
वही कुछ लड़कियों अपने मां बाप के दबाव में,
मन के विरुद्ध जाकर किसी से ब्याह रचाया,
पर क्या उस रिश्ते को
ज्यादा दिन वह दोनों निभा पाए, नहीं ना

People went there to celebrate love,
People went there for togetherness,
People were there to enjoy the serenity,
And they got separation,
They got pain,
For a lifetime,
Just because of someone's
hatred towards a religion,
Terrorism has stood up once again,
And steps have to be taken,
To fight it and to remove
The threat of terrorism once and for all

Today, Justice feels like a joke,
Where rapists are let go,
And the victims are blamed,
Where, one religion is asked
not to have processions on road,
While the other religion can
do any procession
whenever they feel like,
Where, a criminal can be punished,
While, a supreme court judge
who had crores of amount at home,
Can be a judge of a high court
The next day and pass judgements
on other people.

A very difficult task,
As when you trust someone blindly,
You tell them your secrets,
And, you never know
how they would use them,
Would they keep your secrets, or
Use them against you and
Betray you in the process,
Breaking you in so many pieces,
That you wouldn't be able
to pick yourself ever again

Everyone is drowning today,
Be it due to peer pressure,
Due to betrayal,
Due to love,
Due to family pressure or
For any other reasons,
But God put you in this situation,
Because, he knows you best,
He knows you can fight this,
And overcome every difficulty,
Have faith on God &
Keep fighting

Love, in which we do
everything in our power
to keep our beloved happy,
Love, in which we forget
everything in order
to keep them happy,
And Love, in which
we lose our self respect
in our tries to keep
them happy,
and they still don't
stay with us and move
to a better option.
