I still remember my first laptop and how I cared for it more than anything in the world. The laptop, though perfect, didn't last more than 6 months. Similarly, my first AirPods stopped working within weeks.

Ultimately I stopped caring for things, the laptop I carry has bruises all over, but it works better than any new one. My watch, with a malfunctioned crown, stores charge more than a new one.

Life has interesting ways to teach us a good lesson. Sometimes, broken things in life last longer than the perfect ones.

Accidentally, what she hid herself behind was no ordinary tree but the one known to grant heartfelt desires - the Wishtree.

Seated beneath its branches, she wished for her boyfriend to come there and console her. And. So he did. Racing through the woods, he found her and went down on both his knees to beg for her forgiveness.

Overjoyed, she yearned for a big hug. And, so it happened. He lifted her off the ground, sealing the moment with warmth and a tender kiss.

And then, a chilling idea crept into her mind, what if this were all a dream, and when I woke up he would be gone forever? And. So it happened.

She woke up from her dream, only to find herself all alone in her bedroom, having no idea how she came back.

“Why are you telling me this story”, she asks him.
“Relationship is the same, you know.", he tells her, "Only 10% of our actions shape them, while the remaining 90% resides in the realm of our thoughts"

Heart, she explains him, is the most fragile organ. Once shattered into pieces, it cannot be made whole again. Her heart was once a whole, and now, it's pieces of puzzle she can't put together.

Heart, he explains her, is like any other body part. It can only carry a limited amount of love, just like his body can hold only a small amount of weights. But, as it breaks, and heals and breaks, it gets stronger. With each failure our heart makes, it becomes resilient like never before, capable of loving someone in a quantum, unheard of.

"How can you love me, when you had loved someone so much", she often asks him.
"Because of that", he would often reply.

When we can’t put a valid reason for something or don’t know how to say it, and when we end up ranting all around it, we call it GLOBING. Like when I wanted to propose you, and told you stories about Romeo and Juliet , and how important it was to fall in love and how impossible it was to live without it, I was GLOBING. Like when you wanted to leave me, and told me that you didn’t love me, that I was not enough and we were not meant to be together, and I deserve someone better than you, you were GLOBING.

BUT THINGS WORK OUT, YOU KNOW?
EVEN IF IT DOES NOT FEEL OKAY
FOR A LONG TIME,
OR EVEN IF IT FEELS LIKE
THINGS WILL NEVER BE OKAY AGAIN,
EVERYTHING WORKS OUT IN THE END

Loving someone who does not love you back is like waiting for a ship at an airport.

JUST KNOW, THAT IT’S OKAY
TO LEAVE SOME RELATIONSHIP UNFINISHED.
SOME CANVASES UNCOLOURED
SOME WORDS UNUTTERED

NOT EVERYTHING WILL BE WHOLE
IN THE UNIVERSE.
LOOSE ENDS HAPPEN
AND IT’S OKAY....

ONE FOUR THREE

He would often accuse her of hiding her feelings, knowing very well how much she loved him but speaking nothing.

“Why would you do that?“, he asked her.

“Do you remember when we first met?“, she asked, “that orchard with trees numbered in a sequence. Do you remember when you called me asking where I was, and you had gone to Tree No. 200 while I was stuck at 100.”

“Yes, I remember”, he replied. “We decided to move towards each other and that we were supposed to meet at the centre but you could barely walk 40 trees while i travelled 60”

“Do you remember the exact number”, she whispered. “It was 143, and that was my way of telling you that I loved you, the first time we met.

“You were always lost in the words, while I left so many signals to gather”.

Scarcity of anything, makes it more beautiful. Whether it’s lack of sleep, dearth of money or you ❤️
