A rush of emotions overwhelmed her, making her hold her breath.

తనకేమీ తెలియదు,
కానీ తన గురించి తెలుసుకోవడానికైతే
చాలా ఉంటుంది.
మాట ఎప్పుడూ వినదు కానీ,
మౌనంలో ఎన్నో యుద్ధాలు చేస్తూ ఉంటుంది. బయటపడదు కానీ,
బయటి ప్రపంచం కంటే పెద్దదే తన ప్రపంచం.

కళ్ళకు కదులుతున్నట్లే కనిపిస్తున్న కాలం,
తన ఆలోచనల్లో మాత్రం ఎక్కడో ఆగిపోయింది.
ఆ క్షణం తిరిగిరాదేమోననే భయం కాబోలు.
ఆగిపోయిన ఆ కాలాన్ని కదిలించగలిగేది
ఆమె చూపులేనేమో అనిపించింది నాకైతే.

"ప్రేమ నిన్ను కాల్చేస్తుంది"
అని రచయిత ఆ పుస్తకంలో రెండుసార్లు రాశాడు.
నా వరకు వస్తే కానీ తెలియలేదు,
ఆ రెండు వేరు వేరు సందర్భాలని.
ఆ రెండు సందర్భాలే
రచయిత జీవితాన్ని రాశాయేమో అనిపిస్తుంది.

Some days end up as promises.
Some days end up as lessons.
Some days just end.
Some days just vanish.

as a breath of regret.

మాటలైతే ఎప్పుడూ ఉండేవే.
మౌనం అప్పుడప్పుడూ వస్తుంది.
మాట్లాడుకోవాల్సింది మాత్రం
చూపుల వెనుక ఉండే కథ గురించే.
అది ప్రేమేనని ఒప్పుకోరు కాని,
ప్రాణం కంటే ఎక్కువే కనిపిస్తుంది వాళ్లు కలిసినప్పుడు.

moon finished writing all the stories
that were shared by the earthlings.
Holding the tears,
he closed the book.

మనసంతా ఆనందం నింపే పసిపాప నవ్వు అది.
గుర్తొస్తూనే ఉంటుంది చాలాసార్లు.
మాటలే లేకుండా
దిష్టిచుక్క అడిగే అమాయకత్వం అది.
తీరంలో కూర్చున్న ప్రతిసారీ
కళ్ళముందే కదులుతుంటుంది.
తార మాట్లాడితే వినాలి అనుకునే
ఎదురుచూపుల్లో ఏముందో అసలు.
అలా నన్ను నేను ప్రశ్నించుకునే
క్షణాలే ఉండవు కదా.
