Maybe you are not lost
Maybe you are simply standing still
For a moment. The PAUSE
Where you learn to let go,
Watch life unfold
Without the ever-burning need
To have control. Over everything
I would choose hope and
Peace that comes with believing
All will turn out okay.
Some days I still worry
I am not where I am supposed to be,
But if the sun is brave enough
To rise each day, regardless,
Then i, too will find my way
Home again.

I tried to fit in many places and always unsuccessfully
Until "who am I" became "what's wrong with me?"
I attract people who feel empowered to be by my side but
If they're down I lift them up,
If I'm down I must lift myself up?
The only one catching me if I fall is my room's floor.
If being human is connection then I've done it all wrong.
Until I hear a soft voice, innocent pure warm.
She tells me that I'm loved and she'll never leave me alone.
I skpetically ask, " who are you? And what's the price?"
She says, "I am the child at the bottom of your eyes.
If you connect to me to our truth at its core, I promise you, you will never feel alone.
We deserve to be acknowledged and seen independently of other people.
I'll do it for you,
You do it for me."

Waiting has a beauty of its own,
Like a longing painted monochrome...
Like a lone crumpled leaf waiting for spring,
Like the stillness the dark clouds bring,
Like a lone bird that soulfully sings.

Like them all, I wait for you,
Dig in memories, to seek a new
I know not if you'll come to me again,
Will I ever have my regained...
But I am content as I wait,
Some day, in some life, to be let
In through your hearts gate.
