As I sat watching the sunset
Sipping my tea
Thoughts started overflowing
Along with the medley

Calmness descended in the end
And I think I know now
Know where I should go next
And more so what I should do...

Talking has become a task for some

कुछ सूझ बूझ से परेह हो चली
कुछ सोच के सागर में मैं बह गई
नींद है की जाती नही,
और खयाल सवाल बनके सोने नही देते

मन में उछाल है, दिमाग में हजारों सवाल है,
कहां ढूंढूं इनके उत्तर मैं?
डोर मैं है गांठ बनती जा रही
कैसे सुलझाऊ इन उलझे धागों को मैं?

बताया ना, सूझ बूझ के परेह है सब
सब मेरे काबू में और सब मेरे काबू से बाहर
बस नींद का इंतजार है,
क्या पता सपना लगे ये सब नींद से बाहर निकल।

These generalizations I don't understand
Why books can't be cool and spice be considered bland?
I mean don't consider me wrong,
I'm not trying to switch day into night and the other way around
But why after taking a flight we always land up on the ground?
Why does asking more questions raises brows
We trust people yet we want them to emphasize the point with vows?
We juggle between the highs and lows
We try so much and yet say casually - "who knows?"
Being unsure is part of our sure selves after all!

पानी का आइना
झील की गहराई में
प्रतिबिंब ही नही
रूह दिखा गया
देख रहे थे पहाड़ो की ओर
आसमान एक नई पहेली बता गया।

चलते चलते रेत में पांव बह चले
बहती जिंदगी संग तू यहां आगया
ना जाने तू किसीको ना जाने तुझे कोई
फिर भी खुशी तेरी तू यहां पा गया।

देख तू ये खेल जिंदगी का
आंख मुंदी और कल यहां आगया।

वो शाम ही क्या जो रात मे ना बदले
चिंता कैसी है जनाब
चल पड़ेंगे जहां रास्ते ले चले।

To hearts unfolding and counting days again
Hoping a bright light keeps spot in lives
Troubles, worries and sighing stories
Are all a thing of past now

The sand clock is turning again and yet again
I wonder if we get time to breathe
Running a race barefoot in the dark
Emotions under a sheath

Trying to make sense since Day 0
It's a new year afterall
Continuing a few chapters and closing lots
Somethings you want to remember and some not even recall

Listen to the drum rolls before the show
Life's unfolding before you know
Clap your hands and move your feet
In a space between concious and subconscious
Is where my sanity and insanity meet
Block that noise and make a choice
Cry it out and go be loud
