"A World of Shadows"

In a world where betrayal and rage reside,
Women of strength face degradation's heavy tide.
With hearts full of love and intentions pure and bright,
They're met with denial, and a relentless fight.

Their quest for love and care is often condemned,
By societal norms that silence and suffocate their dreams.
Wrongly blamed and judged, they're forced to wear,
A mask of shame and guilt, that's not theirs to bear.

Despite the trials they face, and the weight they must carry,
They rise, resilient and strong, with a spirit that's unmarred.
Their voices, though whispered, will not be silenced or tamed,
For they hold the power to shatter the chains of shame.

She was a girl, with a laughter so free,
Spreading joy to all, wild and carefree.
With a heart full of love, and a spirit so bright,
She lit up the world, like a ray of warm light.

Her smile could illuminate, the darkest of nights,
And her voice, was music, that soothed the soul's plight.
She was a bird, with wings so wide,
Spreading love and joy, wherever she'd reside.

"I try and I try, but expectations arise
A weight on my shoulders, a burden in my eyes
The more I strive, the more I feel confined
A prisoner of pressure, with no peace of mind

I yearn to spread my wings, to fly and be free
But the chains of doubt and fear, they bind me, you see
I cry and I cry, over the pain I've endured
A heart that's been shattered, a soul that's been obscured

Oh, why must fate be cruel, and fortune turn away?
I've tried to rise above, to seize the day
But every step forward, is met with a step back
Leaving me with nothing, but a shattered heart and a cracked back

I long to thrive and flourish, to be loved and to be known
But the shadows of self-doubt, they whisper "you're not enough" alone
I'm searching for a glimmer, a light in the dark
A beacon of hope, to guide me through the embark"
