God isn't absent amidst evil and sufferings. The genuine human complaints and grief are limited symbols of the unfathomable pain of God. Perhaps, God's own grief is voiced out in our genuine laments.
God's Kingdom is neither human achievement nor human possession. It is something that breaks into our space and time in power of the Spirit to transform our entirety.
Suffering in silence might make us numb towards the pain of others. Lamenting before God enables us to realize the need of compassion and reflect it in our everyday lives.
