Not My Deed, Still My Burden"

How long must we answer for flames we never lit,
While carrying ashes of all we’ve lost?

How long must we prove our hearts are kind,
While our own grief is brushed and tossed?

Not my deed, yet I pay the price—
Judged in silence, not once, but twice.

Still, we rise, we stand, we share your pain,
While ours is met with quiet disdain.

We are not hate. We are not war.
We are the peace you’re searching for.

Echoes in the Hills
In valleys where the rivers sing,
And pine trees stretch in silent grace,
The hills now echo sorrow's sting—
A shadow falls upon this place.

Where laughter danced on pony’s trail,
And children dreamed beneath the sky,
Now silence wears a mourning veil,
And doves in grief forget to fly.

Around thirty hearts, now still and cold,
Tourists who came with joy and trust,
Their dreams lie buried in the fold
Of Pahalgam’s beloved dust.

They came to breathe the mountain air,
To find a piece of peace and light—
But met with death's unspoken stare,
And vanished swiftly into night.

O Pahalgam, your heart now bleeds,
Your soul is pierced by ruthless flame.
The earth has seen unholy deeds,
And peace has bowed its head in shame.
The valley speaks with one clear voice,
We curse the hands that brought this pain—
Whosoever did this, stripped of choice,
Shall find no peace, in hell remain.

To every soul in mourning now,
We stand with you, we share your cries.
Your grief is carved upon our brow,
Your sorrow lives behind our eyes.

The Valley Trembled

For two long nights the heavens cried,
With thunder’s roar and lightning wide.
The clouds did clash, the skies did flare,
And dread was thick in valley air.

The little children wept in fright,
The young stood frozen in the night.
The elders trembled, prayers unsaid,
As storm and fear in silence spread.

The wind did howl, the rain did pour,
Then came the hail with ruthless roar.
It struck the trees, the tender field,
And made the orchard’s bounty yield.

A test, a trial, a warning sign,
That all we have is not just mine.
So let us turn to Him and say:
"Forgive us, Lord, for we have strayed."

The crops lie crushed, the fruits lay torn,
Some hearts are empty, some souls worn.

So bow your head, let pride be still,
Submit to Him, accept His will.
In storms or sun, through loss or gain,
His love alone shall keep us sane.

The Essence of Eid

Delighted to see so many bright faces,
Hearts brimming with joy in festive embraces.
Blissful it feels to be a part,
Of this celebration, a joyous art.

After the blessings of Ramadan's light,
Comes a day so pure, so bright.
A time to cherish, to laugh and to cheer,
A moment of love we hold so dear.

Some spend pennies, some spend more,
On lavish feasts and garments galore.
While others watch, with silent sighs,
Dreaming beneath the glittering skies.

Yet kindness blooms in hearts so true,
As some extend a hand anew.
To share, to give, to ease the strain,
On those who struggle, who bear the pain.

Seek forgiveness, let grudges fade,
Heal the wounds that time has made.
For those who hurt and those who fell,
Offer grace, let mercy dwell.

May wisdom shine and hearts convey,
The deeper meaning of this day.
A day of joy, a day of peace,
Eid—where love and blessings increase.

Salute to Anantnag’s Traffic Police

In the crowded streets, they stand tall,
fasting, yet unwavering in duty.
The sun beats down, the air is thick,
but they guide the rush with patience.

While we hurry home, they remain,
ensuring safe paths for strangers.
Eid approaches, families gather,
but they stay at their posts, unseen heroes.

Their sacrifice is silent, yet immense.
A salute to their strength, their service,
their unspoken dedication.

ALPS – A Dream
Some distance away from the town so bright,
A dream was born in the quiet moonlight.
A vision fierce, a purpose strong,
To bring new hope a delightful song

A lone dreamer with a fire untamed,
Teaching rustics to rise, unchained.
To match the world in wisdom’s race,
Light the dark with knowledge’s grace.

Ideas new, unheard, untold,
Surprising many, Young as well as old.
Some stood silent, some in doubt,
Few believed, yet majority stood out.

For many here, I stay unknown,
But ALPS will stand as its seeds are sown.
Not just a school, but a guiding light,
To break the chains, to rise in might.

Maybe today, it’s yet to shine,
But with time, it will align.
A name to echo, far and wide,
A beacon strong, a source of pride.

ALPS, my dream, my endless fight,
Born from faith, built with might.

Ramadhan – A Month of Light

Ramadhan comes, so pure, so bright,
Filling hearts with love and light.
A time to pray, to fast, to give,
To seek His mercy and truly live.

The past is gone, don’t look behind,
Repent with heart, be true, be kind.
Each tear that falls, He sees, He knows,
His mercy like a river flows.

From dawn to dusk, we hold our thirst,
With patience strong, we put Him first.
In silent nights, our hands we raise,
Seeking His love, His endless grace.

The doors of Heaven open wide,
Calling sinners to step inside.
Forgiveness waits, so pray, so strive,
Let faith within you come alive.

For My Darling Iram Jaan

You came to me like a guiding light,
An angel who made my world so bright.
Through every storm, through every tide,
You held my hand and walked beside.

For ten long years, our love stood tall,
Through highs and lows, through rise and fall.
I strayed at times, I lost my way,
Yet you stayed strong, you chose to stay.

Your love, so pure, so deep, so true,
A blessing rare, a gift so new.
Now finally, in Allah’s sight,
We are one—our hearts unite.

My queen, my life, my soul’s embrace,
Your love has filled my empty space.
Now every breath, now every year,
Is meant for you, my love, my dear.

May Allah bless this love so bright,
And keep us close, day and night.
With endless joy, with boundless grace,
Forever, always, face to face.

— Yours, Nvii

The Magic In you
With you, I feel there’s nothing to fear,
Your smile makes all my worries disappear.
Your touch fills me with strength and light,
And your care makes everything feel right.

You show me beauty in all you do,
And teach me things I never knew.
In your love, I’ve found my way,
A bond that grows stronger each day.

May Allah keep us close, side by side,
Through every moment, in life’s tide.
Turn our hopes into a dream come true,
For I’ll always cherish and love you.

Five Souls "one tragedy"

In a rented home, they stay,
A family of five, taken away.
Husband, wife, and little ones three,
Gone too soon, in a tragedy.

A one-month babe, a life so new,
A toddler of one, and a child of two.
No breath, no sound, the cold did call,
In one dark night, they lost it all.

No warning came, no light to guide,
The warmth they sought, they could not survive.
Neighbors knocked, but life had fled,
A silent home, five souls now dead.

Pandrethan weeps, the cold remains,
A family lost, etched in pain.
Five lives now gone, their story told,
A tragedy wrapped in winter's cold.
