Summer tides and river rhymes
Green figs scent; my lungs’ best friend
Rainbow roses wide as trolls’ ears
Lily-white skies that flow smooth like lies
Yin and yang circles like candy in my pocket
Showing me in life there’s nothing like perfect
There’s good and there’s bad, gentle and wild
I’ll embrace all the good, harbor bad in my veins
For I can only know light when I’ve overcome Hades

This Slope Called Life...

He carried his six-feet-tall boulder up the hill with his hands and shoulder
The clouds began to weep and the slope became slippery, but he struggled on; he moved further
The wind pounced on him, sending chills, he tried so much but could no longer persist
He lost his zeal
Lost his joy
But I still wish he found that last ounce of strength
I still wish he got up
I mean, where else could you possibly go after hitting rock bottom, Saùl?
Where else but up?!

My eyes started to flicker, about to close shut
And just in time, I saw you again
Your voice, fine as silk, began to dissolve my pain

I could almost swear I saw a tear
I really can't believe you're still here

It was too much for me; too heavy
I let it pull me into its bosom; wholly buried
Its domes started to feel like home
Wrapped me tight like the tip of a cone

I thought it'd release me when it had the most
But it's grip on me tightened dark and cold
I cried and fought till my sweat turned blood
But all in futility; my strength melted like rod

The Beauteous Orchestra

The glinting stars eagerly illuminate the night
The moon does not, for a second, try to hide its light
The spring surrenders its royal self for resfreshing
The greens daily sprout that the stench of hunger might be lacking
The wind is ever wandering to supply both herbs and man
And the thoughtful man desires day by day to offer a helping hand;
This is the beauteous orchestra that daily proves
Living for others is nature's rule

Like fireflies give light to the dark skies
Baby, you brighten my entire world
Like roses give color to the dull grass
you adorn me with all of your love
Like the oceans shimmer under the sunlight
