My Solace: Oneness with Nature

The soft glow of the sun
Over the horizon
Plays hide and seek
Aloft the treetops,
While I stand below
Enjoying the cool breeze
Grazing across my skin.
I take in a deep breath,
Inhaling as much of the air as possible;
Savouring the fresh air,
Loving the fragrance of soil and wood;
Feeling at peace,
Feeling one with nature.
Truly in nature,
I find my solace.

So many songs, remind me of you.
So many songs, make me cry.
I've hated songs for so long.
Thought I got over you,
Yet the songs still make my heart bleed.
Don't know if I still love you,
Or my memory of you.
Just know, these songs will nevwr fail
To remind me of you.

To let others know and understand him,
To spread knowledge and awareness,
To see the smile on others reading what they wrote,
To inspire others,
To give hope to others.
A writer has so many purposes
That it cannot be expressed with mere words
The purpose varies from one writer to another.

What you write calculatively
A poem is
What flows out directly from your heart.
A poem is not
What you write measuring meters and stanzas.
A poem is
All the emotions you pour out through sentences.
A poem is not
Something that has to be grammatically accurate.
A poem is
Expressing your feelings through words
And letting your thoughts and emotions
Reach the depth of the heart of other.

With millions of stars
Shining brightly.
With millions of people's
Hopeful gazes.
With the moon
Softly illuminating the surroundings.
Many dreams, many aspirations
Are everything the dark blue sky
Is filled with.

Colors all around,
Before today it has all been
Black and white.
I see the truth now.
Never again will I make
The same mistake.
Never again will I trust.
Never again will I let anyone
Come close enough to hurt.

The pain of throwing someone you like
Into someone else's arms,
Is like ripping your heart out of your chest,
With your bare hands.

I'm surrounded by people,
Standing in a corner, watching everyone quietly.
Because everyone sees each other,
But no one can see me.
Because everyone is talking,
But no one to hear me out.
Alone, all alone amongst a crowd.

Of the times when we had no worries.
I often remind myself
Of the beautiful green trees which surrounded us.
I often remind myself
Of the clean blue seas where we could see the sand below.
I often remind myself
Of my childhood when everything seemed magical.
I often remind myself
Of the past and the path thorough which I became me.
