Sometimes people cross our
path unexpectidly and then prove that they shouldn't have been entertained. Whenever we realise it we should rearrange the table and remove certain chairs. Toxicity should never be welcomed just because it had been a part of life in the past. Don't try to attach fallen leaves to the tree. Let new and fresh ones grow.

 جس کی چھاؤں میں عمر گزری ہے
کیا یہ ممکن ہے اس کی چاہت کا
ایک دن میں حساب ہو جائے؟

گر یہ ممکن نہیں، تو جانے دو
آج کا دن نہیں مناتے ہم
اپنی مصروفیت کے لمحوں سے
چند لمحےنکال کر ہم سب
آج ماں کو منانے چلتے ہیں

وہ جو دہلیز پہ کھڑی کب سے
میری آمد کے لمحے گنتی ہے
یا جو مٹی کے ڈھیر کے نیچے
تیرے قدموں کی چاپ سنتی ہے

اس کی آنکھوں میں روشنی بھر دیں
آو اس راہ دیکھتی ماں کو
چند لمحےسکوں کے لا کردیں

انسان یہ سمجھ لے کہ خوشیاں
"پانے" کا راز خوشیاں "دینے" میں
ہے اور شکوے کی بجائے شکر زندگی
میں سکون کا کلیہ ہے تو زمین
پر زندگی بہت مختلف ہو جائے۔
