A SCREAM SILENCED IN THE NIGHT
Dreams pulse through Kolkata's veins,
A doctor’s light, extinguished, slain.
In halls where hope is meant to reign,
Shadows move, bringing pain.
Day's work, she mends, revives,
Hands of care, where kindness thrives.
Night falls, sanctuary breached,
Healing's home, now out of reach.
Promise to mend, shattered trust,
Dreams stolen, future turned to dust.
City weeps in silent throes,
For justice, for what the darkness knows.
Candles flicker, tears like rain,
Silent cries, blood’s cruel stain.
Anguish fuels the rising cries,
Darkness and fear under Kolkata’s skies.
In her name, a pledge we make,
To end the silence, the shame, the ache.
Her spirit calls for change,
In every heart, her memory remains.
Together, strong, we strive,
For a world where no one must hide.
Punish the monsters, serve her justice,
May her soul find eternal peace.-
*Digboi: The Jewel of Assam*
Nestled in Assam's embrace so green,
Lies Digboi, a town serene.
Where hills whisper secrets old,
And tales of beauty quietly unfold.
The skies here wear a sapphire hue,
Kissing forests that ever renew.
Teeming with life, the lush expanse,
Nature’s splendor, a wondrous dance.
In this cradle of charm and grace,
Carmel School stands, a cherished place.
Echoes of laughter, lessons so dear,
Memories of school days linger near.
From morning bells to evening glow,
In Carmel’s halls, young minds grow.
Friendships forged in youthful bloom,
In classrooms filled with learning's perfume.
Durga Puja lights up the night,
Pandal hopping, a joyous sight.
With devotion pure and hearts so grand,
We celebrate with our vibrant band.
Saraswati Puja, wisdom's call,
Khichuri Prasad for one and all.
Gathering in festive cheer,
In Digboi’s heart, traditions dear.

*In Memory of Prof. S. S. Roy Choudhury my loving Boro Mama*
In Digboi's heart, a legend stood tall,
A beacon of wisdom, beloved by all.
Mathematics flowed like a gentle stream,
In the halls of knowledge, he fulfilled his dream.
As a Principal, he led with grace and might,
Guiding young minds through day and night.
A true gentleman, compassionate and kind,
In his gentle presence, solace we'd find.
The backbone of our family, steadfast and true,
With a heart so big, his love always grew.
A father figure, our guiding light,
In his embrace, everything felt right.
Boro Mama, your legacy will forever stay,
In the lives you've touched, in every way.
Though your absence leaves a void so deep,
In our hearts and memories, we'll always keep.
May you find Shanti, in the realms above,
Attain Sadgati, in eternal love.
You will be missed, dear Boro Mama,
In our thoughts, you’re always near.-

Splendors of Vishnu Sahasranama
In the heart of ancient lore,
A hymn revered, forevermore,
Vishnu Sahasranama's grace,
A thousand names, a sacred space.
From the lips of sages wise,
Echoes rise towards the skies,
Every name, a gem, a light,
Dispelling darkness with its might.
Narayana, the primal force,
Guide the Universe in its course,
Shree Vishnu, the preserver grand,
Holds the cosmos in His hand.
Govinda, protector kind,
Gentle heart and tranquil mind,
Hari, by whom all sins efface,
And where all creation takes place.
Ananta, endless, boundless sea,
In whom lies all eternity,
Janardana, the people's friend,
Whose mercy knows no end.
Keshava, who slayed the impious Kesi,
His curled locks look so lovely,
Madhava, spring of endless cheer,
Who banishes all doubt and fear.
Vamana, who measured the cosmos,
In Him our spiritual worth outgrows,
Jagannatha, master of the world,
With whose flag all love is unfurled...

Har Har Shambhu Shiv Mahadeva
O Devadidev we look for you
Liberate you from the well of ignorants
Let them call you by the name of fountain
Wash their souls of ungraciousness
They laughed mocked demeaning you
Used you as a weapon to stab our faith
They run free unapologetically
Slitting throats of your pious devotees
A man who earns his daily bread
To feed himself and his loved ones
Gives up his life in the hands of sinners
Knowing you'll bring them to justice someday
O Devadidev O Mahadev
It's time to show your presence now
We chant your name O Maharudra
Empower us to fight back the fools
We are peaceful but too powerful
We choose to tolerate but now no more
It's our time to give back with righteousness
Om Namah Shivay! Om Namah Shivay!

#Cinderella #
I have no fairy Godmother
or magical pumpkin or mice
that transform to chariots
with a mystical spell
I am a hardworking woman
with brown skin and bony cheeks
working hard sweating to earn
There aint any glass slippers
to woo dreamy Prince charming
My worn out flats define me,
my simplicity speaks aloud
I do not leave behind
glass slipper for a perfect match
because beauty does not mean
worthiness above all
Seek me for my personality
instead of judging me
through few dance steps
dolled up one evening
I live a life so common
I am Ella embraced with cinders.

Dreamy Affairs in Distress
Close your eyes, open your mind
Limitless knots that unwind
Lows and highs knows no bound
Claps and thunders but no sound
No date no time that you follow
No age no name today or tomorrow
Rendezvous with mirror thyself
Reckoning deep within itself
Orange yellow purple hues
Twists and turns spiral views
Pretty pleasures running blindfold
Raging rivers cuts the rocks cold
Fading flowers stuck in thorn
Stormy golden fields they warn
Milky waves bump the seas
Tidal winds flying with bees
Content fancy spring thy dreams
Complains of peaceful sleep it seems.-
