For almost a year now, since last june, i've had writer's block turned to receding interest in writing due to some factors, (story for another day).
But before i took the inevitably traumatizing hiatus , i wrote an article about african civilisation that was published on the Akoru website for African literature...
i'm regrounding to get back to writing with my follow up short story, June when it all began"... But before we go into that, take a look at the Chronicles of Ancient African Genius, an insightful read about the genius of african inventions, there are lots of other write ups on akoru that will make you fall in love with Africa, or not😊. lol.

How your arms
Wrapped
around me
Through the night
The only feeling
That ever felt right.-
The ultimate freedom ever
achieved by a man,
is freedom from women.-
In this walk of life
Sometimes i step
Most times i Tip Toe
But i move
And that's enough.-
Money spent on travelling
is money invested,
Exposure has no price tag,
an informed mind
is a rich mind.-
When i say that "i feel your pain"
it means that the human in me
resonates with the human in you,
And we all hurt the same but differently.-
The stories we tell define who we are, it's the unscripted scrolls
of kind acts of service that narrate our purpose in life.-
Some times it's not even the
person that you miss
but the memories,
the sweet regards and the warm hugs.-
