I said, “Don’t talk to her,”
her words weren't kind,
what stopped in WhatsApp
restarted on Insta behind.

When I had the same app too,
they shared reels,
of those who stayed
when they felt low,
and I knew exactly
how that connection feels.

I didn’t like it
it sparked miscommunication.
So I blocked her presence,
ended the notification.

But when our fights bloomed,
I came to make things right,
only to see she still stood in the light.

“Why so high?” I cried.
He replied,
“Just a referral... a job she applied.”

But he stood for her

and silenced my voice.

“I’ll talk to her instead of you,
she’s trying, you’re not.”
He forgot my efforts,
my battles, my fights.

He shared her resume
months before I knew
while I was working,
she was looking.

The name I hate...
now sealed in fate.

It’s been six years, no words to say,
I wanted to wish, but stayed away.

And in the midst of astrophobia's plight,
A girl appeared, a guiding light.
With her, my fear did dissipate,
Leaving behind a sense of fate.
