वो जो सांसों से बातियते थे, अब लफ्ज़ भी नहीं समझते।
ऐसी हैं दरारे आए की प्यार के इज़हार पर भी भरोसा अब नही।
गलतियां की हमने, पश्चाताप भी, पर शायद कुछ कमी रह गई।

कच्चे धागों के ये रिश्ते, टूटकर कभी नहीं जुड़ते।
झूट कहता था ज़माना, कोशिश करने वाले भी हैं हारते।
सब किया उसे वापस पाने के लिए, लेकिन ये दरार ना भर सके।
प्यार तो है, दब गया लेकिन खुद्दारी के तले।

काश वो समझते, अपने दिल की सुनते।
जज्बात तो हैं लेकिन और हिम्मत नहीं।
थक चुका हूं, प्यार के सबूत देते-देते।
अब भी यकीन नहीं तो कभी होगा भी नहीं।

पर हिम्मत नहीं हारी है अभी तक हमने।
प्यार किया है शिद्दत से तो आखिरी सांस तक लड़ेंगे।
