What hurts is that so many times, with so many people, you have to just go through same disappointment. You almost feel like a stupid kid being played of by devious manipulative monsters. They don't even realize that people have heart, that they also have feelings. That person feels bad, sitting alone, and remembering once beautiful and that people live with scars, scared. Why people just can't be loyal? Where the fuck goes the generosity? Why the lies, the shallow care, the drama, the fake affection? And the worst part, you know you cared, that you never lied, you never faked emotions, you meant every word. It's like a bloody game for people. And for you, it was real, the real thing. You just look back and remember and feel like a maudlin. And they, they never care. They never did.
