I can't hold enough
Of you in my hands
You slip right through
My fingers
Just like sand
I can't wrap you all around me
I can't wear you as
A charm bracelet
Or some scent you like on me
I'm afraid you'll uncover me-

I attend a funeral each night
A hundred eulogies written,
A thousand teardrops shed
All for me, by me, to me-
My lake like eyes
Covered in sleepy mist
It has already rained
My skin is melting into me-

Day 25
Write an ode to something you love
Here's an ode to the human anatomy
(continued in caption)-
Let it beat; don't beat yourself
Let blood rush; not your emotions
Let it pump; don't pump expectations
Listen to it; put a hand on your chest
Keep it safe; you don't get a new one-
I don't think I am coming back
Today was the day I dreamt about
All my life, filling what I lack
I don't think I'll change my route
Free as a bird, world is my sky
They put a price on the life I like
So I guess I'll find something I'd buy
Do not wait for me once I fly-
"We are so many worlds apart
And I could shake the world
Because my heart shakes everytime
That I miss you; whenever we talk"
"I know that we are way too far
But you can have my word
Over every wall I would climb
You know, back to you I would walk"-
