Amidst descriptions and narratives,
Poetry lost its way
No more confessions than a mere 'I love you'
No more similitudes than describing qualities
No more precious expressions than a combination of few words.
No more soul or passion
It's just about words

You may hide your other side in front
of everyone
But
Your mirror knew every other side of you
Yet, it points it out straight to your conscience
and not your face

Even after months and years of practice of peace and healing,
It only takes one damn similar situation which let you go spiralling back to the same dark place again.
You avoid, you deny, you fear, you lose your mind before you completely face it, accept it and finally make peace with it.
Yet, it only takes one damn similar situation to go back into the dark space again.
Just because we are mere Humans and
We have no control over 'things' but we are expected to have control over our actions/reactions

Aggressive rivers and placid lakes,
Serene medows covered in endless white sheets of snow,
