It has appeared to me often in my Life that I have opened my Heart and Soul to people who aren't authentic (as they portray or claim) or as genuinely interested in the life and concerns of me, as I would expect them to be. My expectations have appeared justifiable to me for larger part of Life, may be because I truly take interest (at least practice to) and be genuinely invested in the other's lives. It's a pity that it takes a lot to be truly appreciative of the other's contributions in our lives.
But, how does one contribute to another's life? By giving away some Money or material possessions? Often People give more importance to tangible things than intangible Time one spends on another.I mean,in a highly transactory world, often all one got in Life is Time. But,do we possess time in true sense?I guess not, and this paradoxical nature of Time makes it a matter of great worth by an immeasurable measure.
However it takes Humility, Compassion and most importantly Unconditional respect for the inner Divinity in the other, which is once again a part of us, all of us to appreciate... Afterall, gratitude isn't everyone's best virtue, and humility is only an asset of the nobility.
