It’s 14th of November and it is the children’s day,
Let them celebrate it and enjoy by their own way.
Choose from any of colours they like, till they can,
Before it divides them into futile groups and clans.
Speak their minds freely without hurting any emotions
Untill intolerance sets in leading to a big commotion.
Play with their beloved buddies from their birth,
Before money starts determining everyone’s worth.
Let them share laughter and give everyone hugs,
Before egos makes them shrug and greet with smirk.
Meet in person and share their joys and sorrows,
Press we care button is all, that shall trend tomorrow.
Enjoy nature and surrounding wildlife alive in flesh,
Once it disappears only images shall remain to refresh.
Make their own decisions using sheer logic and brains,
Untill foolish herd mentality drives all of them insane.
This children’s day let’s gift them best that we can
A way of life which leads them, to be a better human.

When we started, dreams were big and ambitions high,
Idea was to leave no stone unturned to save every life.
Relieve every suffering and make patients disease free,
But reality is bit different which everyone would agree.

Your degree and years of experience really doesn’t matter,
The Google knowledge has completely filled their platter.
They already know the treatment you just need prescribe,
Dose, duration and side effects need not be described.

Distant cousins, estranged friends suddenly seek you out,
Free treatment, second opinion or just clear their doubts
It’s even more important if you have a government job.
to help them secure a bed or get free supply of meds.

In need of the hour they pledge you even their life,
Once need is over put you easily under the knife.
To defame any medical institution is within their right,
When any support is required they remain quiet.

Doctor patient relationship has undergone a change,
Service is considered as duty and trust out of range.
Respect nowhere to be seen and lack of any gratitude.
Is It high time for doctors to give up humane attitude.

पुरुष प्रधान संस्कृती मध्ये बापा बद्दलच वावगे,
ज्याचा अंकुरतून फुलले भूतलावर संसार हे अवघे.
आई वर खूप ग्रंथ आहेत,बापावर असावी एकाधी चारोळी,
रोजच येत नसेल आठवण,आज द्या त्यांना एक आरोळी.

जशी आई असते घराचा पाया,वडील असतात छत,
भीतीयुक्त आदरमुळे घरात चालते फक्त त्यांची वट.
"सांगू का बाबांना!” एवढी तंबी असते लहानग्यांना पुरे,
वळण लावण्यासाठी वागतात तसे,कठोर नसतात हो खरे.

ठेच लागते जीवा तेव्हा आठवते आपली आई,
पण भीती वाटते तेव्हा आपला बापच धावून येई.
त्यांचा धीर देण्यानी तुम्हाला वाटतो खूप-खूप आधार,
पाठीमागे अभे असल्यास जग जिंकण्यास तुम्ही तयार.

आई असते खूप महान त्यात नाही कोणाचेही दुमत,
मुलानंसाठी राबतात वडील तर ठेवावी त्यांचीही किंमत.
व्हावे भले लेकरांचे म्हणून करत असतात सदैव त्याग,
त्यांचा कटकटी वागण्याचा धरू नका कधी तुम्ही राग.

आई सोबत रोजच मारता आज वडिलांसोबत मारा गप्पा,
तुमच्यातला बदल पाहून ,नक्की खुश होतील तुमचे पप्पा.

Bills are shooting day by day and you don’t have a clue??
Don’t forget Black marketing of supplies was done by you!!
Lack of bed,medicine,supplies are problems to name a few,
Taxpayers money spent on 'VIP culture’ created by you!!
Politician run most hospitals,pharmas & mediclaims,
Why should the salaried doctor get all the blame??
You are coward can’t question representative you vote,
Considering easy target to vent anger on the white coat!!
Even after wasting most of their lifetime just to learn,
Any roadside romeo can but a doctor should not earn!!
Doctors nowadays tend to hide their identity by and large,
Forget any concessions, they fear of getting overcharged.
If only the support & concern on the social media seen,
Brings change in people’s mindset as if they really mean.
Enthusiasm of now tired doctors would be over the top,
It shall truly help to bring this pandemic to a full stop.

Death toll is unprecedented & you must be wondering why??
Ever considered India’s population & spending on healthcare,
Comparing our hospital with western world!!,don’t even dare.
Suddenly everyone is a health expert & raring to guide,
Even those who in their graduation kept biology aside.
We know how to treat a patient no need you to teach,
Ever so knowledgeable,please practice what you preach.
You can’t follow simple advice to stay indoors and use mask,
Knowing that once taken ill recovery might be difficult task.
Follow the damn guidelines issued just for your own sake,
Don’t believe on any forwards and create a new headache.
Get tested only when you are really sick not for fun,
Register yourself for vaccine and wait for your turn.
Don’t get oneself admitted in hospital just out of fear,
You might rob the resources for someone near & dear.

आठ मार्च म्हणजे आहे आज 'जागतिक महिला दिन’,
आज पुरते पडणारे कोडे की कसे फेडणार त्यांचे रीन.
कोणी स्तुतीचे सुमन उधळते कोणी पुष्पाचा करी वर्षाव,
वर्षभर राबलेल्या स्वैपाघरात कोणी करी जाण्यास मज्जाव.
आज सकाळी बेड-टी नाश्ता,मग बाहेरचा बेतही असतो सेट,
एखादी आवडती साडी किंवा एक नेकलेस देतो त्यांना भेट.
मग वर्षभर पाण्याचा ग्लासही नाही उचलला तरी चालतो
इतके वायदे देतो सालभर, पण आम्ही कुठे ती पाळतो!!
बहुतेक निर्णय त्यांचा अपरोक्ष कारण त्यांना काय कळते?
वडील,नवरा,किंवा मुलांना पटले मग त्यांना पण ते चालते.
शिक्षणाची संधी असो वा नोकरी,हक्क त्यांचा मारायचा,
पेलणार नाही जबाबदारी म्हणून दोष त्यांच्यावरच सारायचा.
कधी बुरख्या मागे, कधी पदरा आड,घरचा स्त्रीला झकायचे,
'माझी मुलगी माझा अभीमान' असे एफबीवर मग टाकायचे.!!
देवीची उपमा देतो,कधी माणूस म्हणुन विचार केला का नीट??
आणि त्याच देवीचा मंदीरात जाण्यास बाईचे रक्त आणते विट.
भिंतीआड जगात ठेवले जखडून हाती देऊन चूल आणि पाळणे,
लांडग्यांनी भरलेल्या समाजात,मुश्किल दिवसा ढवळ्या चालणे.
तक्रारीची यादी आहे त्यांची मोठी मात्र दिवस मिळाला आहे एक,
आजचा दिवस आनंदी ठेवा असो लग्नाची बायको वा लाडाची लेक.

जेव्हा स्वार्थी वतनदार वाटून घेत होते रान,
जेव्हा पोटचं पोर करित होते आईचा अपमान,
तेव्हा सर्वाशी निडर पणे लढूनीया जिंकला ,
ऐसा ‘शिवबा’ राजा आमचा महान......
सामाजिक बांधिलकीची कायम ठेवूनीया भान,
परस्त्रियांचा राखुनीया आदर आणि सनमान,
मराठी अस्मियतेची वाढविली ज्याने शान,
आऊ साहेबांचा ‘शिवबा’ राजा आमचा महान......
पराक्रम आणि कल्पकतेची परदेशी होते गुणगाण,
त्यांच्या पुण्याईचे सर्वांना राहूदे थोडं भान,
वाटावा सर्वांना ज्यांच्या सार्थ असा अभिमान,
ऐसा ‘शिवबा’ राजा आमचा महान.....
हिरवा-निळा-भगव्या मधे वाटताना वाटत नाही कशी लाज??
राजा तुमचा का आमचा? वादाला फुटतोच कसा आवाज??
होता शिवबा म्हनून गुलामीतून मुक्त आहे आजचा समाज,
तर ऊगा करू नका तुम्ही बिन बुडाचा माज,
बोला एक मुखानी “जय छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज”......

शरीर को चुभने वाली ठंड जरूर थी उस रात,
काप रही थी रूह,मन को सन्न करने वाली थी बात।
इतने सालो बाद,अब नया नहीं था मौत का चेहरा,
पर उस वक्त का मातम कुछ ज्यादा ही था गेहरा।
बचपन की सारी यादें ताजा हो रही थी उस दिन,
सर पर प्यार से फरने वाले वो हाथ गए थे छिन।
पता नहीं क्यों लग रहा था,अब चल पड़ेगी सांस,
“बेटा तुम कब आए?”सुनाने की अभी थी एक आस।
कड़ी मेहनत का धनी उनका सारा जीवन बेशक है,
ना जगाओ अब कोई,उन्हें गहरी नींद का पुरा हक है।
चार कंधो पे उन्हें लिए, घर से जब जाने सब लोक,
रोए जा रहे थे सब,कोई नहीं पा रहा था उन्हें रोक।
जलते जिस्म से ना निकली एक चीख या एक आह,
अब ना था कोई गिला शिकवा,ना थी जीने की चाह।
अग्नि से उठनेवाली लपटों का असर कुछ तो नया था,
गरमाहट का था यह परिणाम या मै खुद बदल गया था,
कोलाहल के बाद आयी खामोशी में बैचेनी थी लेकिन,
किसी अच्छी जगह सिधार जाने का था पूर्ण यकीन।
आखिरकार सबको मरना है किसी ना किसी दिन,
आपके जाने पर कोई रोए, तो मुक्कमल है जिंदगी।
