She might seem like a formidable female
The one that no man could
Tame or restrain,
A soul that seemed fiercer than
The wildest of wildfires
Little did they know,
That she'd be nothing more than a
Meek and mild maiden, a mousy wallflower

Who was destined to be
The man of her dreams-
Meeting the right person is just a manifestation of all the love you hold.
And maybe that's why it takes a long while to fill up your cup,
Because, aren't you someone whose heart brims with all the love in this world?-
5 years down the lane, I want my friends to honk outside my door in an old campervan, all in hawaiin clothes with plane tickets to places that we've all dreamt of going to. I want us to make time amidst the hustling rat race for the little things we've longed for as young adults. Even when I turn 40 or 50, I'd still love to sit by the bonfire with a beer laughing at how young and reckless we were, not knowing what we were doing and swaying through the path that life steers us through. Is it too much to ask for bonds that age just like fine wine? Idk. Whatever!

The greatest loss in life to me is losing someone who'd do anything just to see you smile.
And I mean it.
When you lose that person, you might not even realise it that very moment. But somewhere later in life, you'd regret for not giving them all the love back. For not being with them when they needed you the most. For making them feel forsaken and lost, when all they were ready to burn their soul just to make you warm. For losing the love that cried to sleep but put on a beaming face just to keep you fine.
Isn't selfless love that rare kind?-
The feeling of belongingness is
All that holds our soul,
In a world full of fickles,
It is the sense of perpetual love
That we all desire.-
There are days when you realise that,
To be young and reckless
Is all a blessing.
And to be mature and prudent
Is nothing but regrets.-
He doesn't give me butterflies or fireflies,
Never created chaos in my brain or tummy.
Hasn't lighted up my day with his kiss,
Nor once has he held me in his arms,
Conscientiously never even confessed,
Or blurted that he loves me.
But I knew,
In the crevasse of our broken hearts,
It all just made perfect sense.-
Imagine sleeping with a book falling to your face, and someone gently taking it away and putting a bookmark on the right page.
You see,
That is love!-
Rains, to me, are perfect for romance
Can I just borrow you for a cuddle?
Wrapped tight within your arms,
Against the warmth of your body,
Sipping up my dose of caffeine
Watching the rain pat the spikes of our pet cacti,
Singing and humming random songs,
And you surprising me with random,
Unexpected fierce kisses,
Taking the chill off from every cell in my body,
Definitely,
Can't ask for more.-
Can I stop acting like I have nothing for you?
Just tell you what it's like in my head without you.
Get over this physical fragility that I experience everytime I fake myself to keep myself away from you.
Put away this tornado of emotion and find a full stop to all the demons in my head.
