Triumph Over Apprehension

When you glance at her face, you see innocence
When you look through her eyes, you feel eons of experience

She’s had her heart shattered into a million pieces,
She’s been pushed off a hundred broken bridges
She’s plunged headfirst onto oceanic ridges,
She’s jumped over rocks, narrowly missing crevices

While giving up seemed to be an easy option,
Standing her ground was what she had chosen
Her vanishing smile over the years has widened,
Through the pain, her perception has broadened

Time has finally healed her broken soul,
To being strong, from losing control
Finding herself has been her only goal

Begin the day with a smile, and end it with some chamomile

An empty mind is filled with the stillness of presence, while a full mind is empty with the chatter of thoughts

Practice being:
‘Mindful’, not ‘Mind full’

Understand that it is perfectly okay to not be understood the way you want to be understood,

Sometimes you may not understand yourself,
And that is okay too!

Everything takes time…

Just breathe…

I died twice, only to realise that life is eternal

We live in a paradox where the Past, Present & Future are like the 3 states of matter…

With each passing second, the ‘Present’ falls back into the ‘Past’ and the ‘Future’ merges in to become the ‘Present’

No wonder we find it so hard to live in the Present!

Journey

She let herself wander,
Through the meadow of life…
Picking roses of fortune,
That made her feel alive…
As she held them close,
Devouring their scent,
Their soft pink petals brushing against her chin…

Thin lines of red caressed her shin,
As thorns of misery pierced through her skin…
Meandering through the maze of pent up emotions,
She came across a lake shone blue as the ocean…
Gazing into the depths of her glassy reflection,
She lost herself in timeless perception…

As she swam deeper into the recesses of her mind,
Unafraid of the horrors that she might find…
Her feet hit the ground making her gasp with wonder,
Her consciousness shaken by a loud rattle of thunder,
In a soft voice she whispered: “I surrender”
