स्वतंत्रता
ये आजादी यूँ ही नहीं मिली
कितने वारों ने लहु बहाया है,
तब जाके हमने आज,
यह तिरंगा लहराया है।
आज भी जहाँ किसान कड़ी धूप में करते काम हैं,
पूरी लगन से लड़ते सैनिक सरहद पार है।
बिना किसी स्वार्थ,होते भारत माता पे कुर्बान है|
यहि मेरा वतन हिन्दुस्तान है !
आओ झुककर सलाम करे उनको,
जिनके हिस्से में यह दिन आया है
किस्मत वाले है वो,
जिनका खून-पसीना देश के काम आया है||

लेकिन आज वहीं के लोगों का हाल बिगड़ा है।
किसी पर ना भरोसा,कौन कहाँ से आया है
सब को अपने से दूर रखना,क्या यही हमें सिखाया है?
दूर हो के सबको अपने पास रखना,
क्या यहि फर्ज हमारा है।
कहना चाहते हैं सब,लेकिन क्या कहें,
यह सोचकर सब चुप है कि
कुदरत ने करिश्मा दिखाया है
यह कैसा दिन आया है !

Fighting with siblings and cousins,
And at night talking with them till the morning comes.
I spend my vacations chill and cool,
Thinking that vacations will not come soon.
